REBT - it’s all about your mind

“Why don’t they teach this stuff in school?”

This was a question from one of my clients recently, after an ah-ha moment in her session.

She had f%#ked up. She had made a mistake.

And she had been paying the price for years.

She was stuck, locked in the past, tied up with the ghosts in her mind that were haunting and taunting her at every turn.

She felt alone and hated the life she had been dealt.

I had seen this before many times.

She was not the first, and she won’t be the last.

Many of us tend to spend our lives feeling like the victim of circumstances.

Life happens TO us.

Our experiences are determined by outside forces and we have little or no control over it.

Shit happens TO us and it’s not our fault.

Life’s not fair.

Well I call that bullshit!

We have just never been told about the superpowers of our minds.

We have never been taught that we have control over how we think, feel and act.

We have this incredibly powerful thing - our minds - but we are never taught how to use it!

One of the ways in which I help my clients with mindset, is through using REBT (Rational Emotive Behavioural Therapy).

It’s almost like having an owner’s manual for your mind.

When my client asked why this is never taught in school, it made me realize that more people needed access to this. So I have decided share some tips and tricks, to help with positive mindset.
