When you love a man you have to share

Yeeehaaaa! It’s the weekend!

And you have just received a message from your friend saying: “Girl’s night out!”

And you cringe!!
You scold yourself for having opened the message.
Now you are forced to reply.

You are forced to make an excuse.
You are forced to lie again.
You would love to go with them!
You know it will cheer you up, but…

Firstly, how is your lover going to feel when he finds out on Monday that you were out on a girl’s night?
It shouldn’t REALLY matter, but you know that it DOES.

Secondly, you just KNOW the gals are gonna try hook you up with the first hunk they see. They do it all the time.
You are the only “single” one, so why wouldn’t they try?

Thirdly, what if you have one too many tequila shots, and end up in tears in the ladies’ bathroom, and accidentally spill your guts about your lover???

Nope, it’s too risky!

So you make another excuse, and spend the weekend alone… AGAIN…

And you are alone with your thoughts, imagining the fun your lover is having with his friends and family over the weekend.
And it sucks…
