Why did he make me fall in love with him?

Being in a relationship with a married man certainly has it’s ups and downs.

But when the downs start becoming more than the ups, you have to start asking if this is really all worth it.

And that is not an easy discussion to have with yourself, or anyone for that matter.

You love him with all your heart. You have given so much of yourself to the relationship. You have said and done all the things you know he loves, and yet…

He is still married. And time is passing.

And you are starting to realize that he is obviously in a comfy place, and probably has no intention of changing anything.

Why would he?
You have accepted the status quo for a few years now, so what’s changed for him?

Nothing… Absolutely nothing.

Surely if he was going to leave his wife, he would have done so by now?

And it’s a horrible day, when this realization hits you.

You know you will always love him, but you start to feel angry and resentful.

And you ask yourself:
“Why did he make me fall in love with him, if he never had any intention of leaving his wife?”
And it HURTS like hell!
