Yes, secrets and lies.
They are all a part of the package when it comes to infidelity.

Initially, by keeping the secret, we hope to protect our reputation, and our relationships with those close to us.
Who are we kidding?
Ourselves?

This eventually leads to a feeling of isolation from others, and can also lead to the negative impact of our well-being.

Unfortunately, our society seems to be mesmerized by secrets.

Rather than reaching out, and trying to find out what is actually happening, the secret is passed on by way of gossip, and “I told you so” comments.

It seems to be more fun and easier to live vicariously through someone else’s drama, than to try and find out the facts, or seek to understand.
