You can’t hide from the secrets in your mind

The truth is effectively a battle of perceptions.

People only see what they want to see.

People only hear what they want to hear.

And when people have different perceptions, the truth has a way of getting lost, and the secret grows.

And as the secret grows, and spreads further and further, the shame that we feel grows exponentially. And our attempts of hiding from the secret become futile.

We may try to mute the conversations around us.
We may try to lower our eyes, so as not to see the looks from others.
No amount of hiding from the outside world can help us.

The secret is inside our minds, and there is no escaping from that.
It’s all so overwhelming!!

You need to BREATHE.
You need to talk to someone trustworthy.
You need to hear yourself speak.
You need your OWN feelings validated.
