It’s so unfair

It pains me to see women who are hurting.
Women who have been strung along.
Women who have been vulnerable and have somehow ended up with a married man.

Having been in a relationship with a married man, for many years, I know what you are going through!

It’s so unfair.
It’s unfair on you, and it’s unfair on his wife.

He doesn’t give a shit either way. He says he does.
He will make you believe that he cares.
And he will explain that because he is so caring, that it is hard for him to leave his kids and his wife right now, but he will make a plan to be with you. He just has to find the right time.

Well, I believed him.
I held onto that tiny bit of hope, that maybe one day, he would walk through my door a free man.
I dreamed of us being able to live openly as a couple.

Yes, I know what you are going through.
I feel your pain.

I feel your longing for a man that is not yours.

I feel your anxiety when you consider telling him you can’t do this anymore.

I feel your fear that you might lose him completely if you try to have an adult conversation about your relationship, and where it is going.
