I’m not afraid to express my truth

I know I have taken the road less travelled.

I know I am treading on toes.

I know I am tackling taboo topics.

I know this makes people uncomfortable.

I know there are many women out there, who need my voice.

So yes, I choose to stand tall.
I choose to not feel ashamed of my past.
And I choose to say what needs to be said.

So much is known about the cheating man.
So much support is given to the hurt wife, and rightfully so!!!
And very little compassion, if any, is given to the woman who never intended to be somebody’s mistress, and who never would have done this to intentionally hurt anyone.

But shit happens in life. Mistakes are made.
It’s how we deal with them that matters.
