Being Blindsided

Let’s talk about being BLINDSIDED!

I always allow my gut to guide me with the topics I discuss.
Always have, and always will.

In the past two weeks specifically, I have had this topic come up over and over again in sessions.

So while it is gnawing at my heels, I thought it is possibly a topic I need to talk about.

It is something that affects wives, it affects mistresses, it affects husbands, it affects work colleagues, it affects lovers, it affects people who are dating, it even affects fucking close friendships!

So, let’s talk about being BLINDSIDED!

You know, that awful situation, where you get burned by someone you trust.

Where they set the stage for you to think everything is fine, and then push you off a cliff.

Where you end up feeling totally fucked over.

When you're blindsided, you're left stunned.

You feel absolutely humiliated.

You are alone, trying to figure out what happened.

The shock, and the feeling of being caught off guard and blindsided, can instantly dismantle EVERYTHING you believed in.

Suddenly you no longer know what to believe or who to trust.

It can destroy your confidence, your sense of worthiness.

It can leave you feeling like a fool, neglected, rejected, abandoned, disregarded, taken advantage of and a whole lot more.

As humans, most of us rely upon close relationships for love and stability.

So, what happens when we are blindsided by these very people who are our world?
